剧情简介

Ahandfuloffans-onlyprivatescreeningstookplacearoundtheworldwiththeworldpremiereofthefilmattheDirectorsGuildTheaterinNewYorkCityonNovember4,2006aspartoftheCMJFilmFestival.TheUKtelevisionpremierewasonChannel4onNovember19,at11:50pm,althoughitwasaheavilyeditedversionwithapproximately40minutescutfromtheoriginal95minuteversion.ThefilmwasunveiledtocoincidewithOasis'best-ofalbum"StoptheClocks",releasedonNovember20,2006.ApreviewofthefilmwasincludedontheLetThereBeLoveDVDsingle,releasedinNovember2005. ThefilmfeaturesanewOasissongalsocalled"LordDon'tSlowMeDown",writtenbyNoelGallagherandrecordedduringtheDon'tBelievetheTruthsessions,Gallagherdescribeditasbeing"oneofthebestthings,likeTheWho,TheYardbirdsandtheJeffBeckGroupcombined,andit'sgottwodrumsolosonit!".HehasalsosaidthathisgirlfriendthoughtitwastheonlyOasissongyoucoulddanceto.Thesongwasleftoff'Don'tBelievetheTruth'becauseGallagherfeltthatincludingitwouldhavemeanthe'dhavebeensingingtoomanysongsontherecord.
